International blah blah (aka The very much awaited post on foreign languages)

I had thought of opening this post with some striking statement (as I often do) regarding the fact that the thing I perhaps miss most when writing in a language that is not Italian, is swearing. I have to rethink this now, as during my very first French class the other day, the professor immediately enlightened us on the crazy variety of French underground idioms, and all the related swearing possibilities.
